I just came across this video from a link on Thunderf00t's latest. Here we see a reenactment of god (Yahweh) pre-Jesus as he answers the prayers of his followers:

Alan Dershowitz on Religion
I've been studying atheist blogs and videos for over a year and I don't remember coming across Alan Deshowitz. I think these two videos were made in 2000 and I hear him making arguments that Dawkins would make years later:

Where Money Comes From
I've been looking for a good explanation of money supply. I did take a first-year economics course years ago but, of course, I forgot most of it. Here, Sal Kahn, presents an 18-part series on money supply using a unique type of animation:
It might not answer all your conspiracy theories about money but it does give a great introduction about money.
Here's another good series on the bailout:
Finally, check out his YouTube channel for hundreds of videos on math, SATs, GMATs, finance, oh my!

Jewish Parents Go Berserk
Here's a prank that was played by a radio station on a girl's highly religious, Jewish parents:

I'd like to think of this as a hoax but I fear that it may not be. There's just no love like religious love.

The Evolution of Flying Squirrels
Here is how flying squirrels evolved and proof to those silly creationists that we are still evolving into superman (err, superwoman? superpeople? Oh, wait we're brights and they are the supers... brightspeople? oh, I give up, just watch the video) :

Atheist vs. Christians
I just discovered Theramintrees on YouTube. He has a series of videos responding to Christians and their arguments. Here's a good one to start with:

More On Happiness
I am very interested in the concept of happiness. Although I am generally satisfied my happiness level is far too low and I find myself brooding far too often. Thus, I've been interested in understanding happiness. Oddly, learning about religion, atheism and psychology has been extremely satisfying and brings a feeling of happiness.
I find the learning process especially exciting. It's like solving an immense puzzle (or playing a game with many levels) where each piece represents another truth to some ultimate understanding. Or, maybe it's like a movie or book that is so engaging you find yourself wishing it won't end. Religion offers empty answers but science and skepticism offers real, verifiable truth with astonishing miracles beyond what any superstitious mind could conjure.
For you other happiness-seekers, here is an enjoyable video by Raj Persaud, psychiatrist on happiness:

Here We Go Again
A teenager shoots both his parents, killing his mother and flees the grisly scene carrying a copy of Halo 3. Again I wonder if religion possibly played a part and:
Full story here. Is it possible that newspapers throw in a religious reference to demonize the teenager further ("How could he shoot his parents considering they are such good, church-going people??") or is it a statement of further correlation between religion and immoral acts?
Maybe Christopher Hitchens is wrong. Religion doesn't poison everything. Religion is poison!
A judge yesterday rejected the defence that a teenage boy opened fire on his family because he was addicted to video games, convicting him of wounding his clergyman father and killing his mother after they fought over a game.

Spaghettification by Black Hole
Neil DeGrasse Tyson talks about his book, "Death By Black Hole" and warns us of a very real asteroid collision scheduled in 20 years. It's not a certainty but, as he says, it would be awfully embarrassing to let it hit us!
